Web development process
Stage 1. Information Gathering.
This is the stage of doing research, aimed at collecting all the relevant info on the basis of which we can develop the best strategy for further project management. At this point, we strive to get a clear understanding of the purposes you’re creating a website for, the main goals you’d like to achieve, and the target audience you wish to attract to your website.
Stage 2. Planning.
At this stage, we decide on the programming language, frameworks, CMS to use. By creating a sitemap that reflects the relations between the main areas of the future website, we can see how user-friendly and easy to navigate it’s going to be. To give a sense of user interface to our customers, we create a wireframe. If you’re satisfied, we proceed to the next step.
Stage 3. Design.
During this stage, we actively interact with our customers. First, our designers create a website layout, representing the information structure, visualizing the content, and demonstrating the basic functionality. Thus, our customers get a general understanding of the future website and provide us with their feedback. Our designers make all the desired changes and not once if needed.
Stage 4. Content Writing and Compiling.
The aim of the stage is to formulate a clear message to the audience. It is associated with creating catchy headlines, adding calls-to-action, writing new texts, editing and compiling the existing ones, etc. All website content should be ready for migration before or during the website coding phase.
Stage 5. Coding.
This is the phase of an actual website building, when all the web page elements, designed during previous stages and reflected in a sitemap and wireframe, are deployed and tested. Plus, some specific features and interactivity should be added. Finally, all the website elements should be optimized for search engines since it is SEO that your position in the search results and, thus, your overall visibility depend on.
Stage 6. Testing, Reviewing and Launching.
Now, it’s time to check the website for possible broken links and typos. Each form and each script on the site should be properly analyzed. In addition, we need to ensure that the codes follow the current web standards by using code validators. When the website is tested and reviewed, it can be uploaded to a server with an FTP software.
Stage 7. Maintenance.
Launching a website is not the last waypoint. So that to satisfy potential users, it is important to monitor their opinion constantly. With this purpose, the feedback system is added to the website. Whenever any problems are detected, their fixing is of the highest priority. In addition, keeping your site up-to-date will prevent you from bugs and decrease security risks.
